Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. I have got a similar problem like in http://hypernews.slac.stanford.edu/HyperNews/geant4/get/geometry/923.html . I am interested in knowing if there is some progress in this subject. I mean If it is possible to change density/temperature (after beamOn) of the detector's material?
There are a loot of examples like Em07 but in that example I can change the whole material after beamOn, but I want to change only a density or a temperature. In my case it is hard to define f.e few materials with different densities because I have got a 10^18 particles in 1 second and I want to change the properties after about 10^3 particles, the number depends on physics. So present solution is not fitted to my problem. Has anyone got a tip how I can do this??
