Question Dividing Detector into Pixels by using Parameterisation

Forum: Geometry
Date: 07 Feb, 2010
From: Ibrahim <Ibrahim>

Hi all,

I would like to divide my detector into 1024x1024 pixels. I did it by using parameterisation. but I do not know why I have to add another volume (box for example) in my DetectorConstruction.cc. . I can see the pixels of my detector but I see also another volume. I do not want to have such volume in my detector I would like only to have pixels. but when I delete this volume (box) from my DetectorConstruction.cc this parameterisation does not work. I have to create such volume. what would you advice me to do to solve this problem. I appreciate your help.

All the best
