G4_WATER is constructed via Geant4 internal database allowing to use internal data on density effect parameterisation and ICRU'73 data on stopping powers. Thus, absolute ranges and Bragg peak position are more precise with g4 9.3 and G4_WATER. In the case of hand-made material it is not possible to access these data and stopping powers/ranges are sample using general algorithm which is less precise.
