Hello all,

this situation with low-energy transport is known. In previous versions of Genat4 our recommendations were to use custom Physics Lists when ionization and elastic scattering processes should be configured with all low-energy limits significantly reduced. The reason of these low-energy limits was top provide effective tracking of low-energy particles in all circumstances (including LHC experiments).

With Geant4 10.2 (December 2015) we change our approach. Now it is possible to use standard Physics Lists for your type of simulation. In each Physics Lists there are two parameters: lowest energy of e+- and muons/hadrons. You can change (or vanish) these parameters via UI commands:

/process/em/lowestElectronEnergy 0.001 MeV
/process/em/lowestMuHadEnergy 0 MeV

Please, try out 10.2 and report any problem.
