If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

I use the latest layered mass geometry functionality with a G4PhantomParameterisation in the base mass world and some parameterised objets in the parallel-world.
Interested in the dose deposited by photons, I need at each step to extract the track lengths inside all the voxels that have been crossed, i.e. the vector G4RegularNavigationHelper::theStepLengths.
When a photon enters a parallel-world volume, this theStepLengths vector does not take into account the boundary that has been crossed and in these cases, it is filled with all the voxels in the extrapolated photon's path up to the edge of the phantom. I wonder if this behaviour is expected. Fortunately, the aStep->GetStepLength() is ok and this problem can be cured.
