The program's output seems correct as I also changed energy range in
and added G4ELASTIC1.1 and G4PII1.3 data files.
But: I was counting cherenkov photons from primary muon, travelling in water volume, choosing different values for muon's energy. When choosing 1 GeV muon I counted ~ 22000 cherenkov photons per meter. Then I tried 100 GeV, 500 GeV, 10TeV, 100 TeV, 1 PeV muon's energy but number of cherenkov photons didn't change a lot. It remained between 21900-22500.
Does it make any sense to you? I was expecting a dramatic change in number of cherenkov photons (as from MeV to GeV) while changing muon's energy.
I have to note that just counting photons from all secondaries produced dramatic changes were observed - as expected.
Any suggestions please?
