Hello Stefania,

The easiest/quickest way to get results out of your simulation is in SteppingAction. To solve your issue, you can, for example, look at:

http://www-geant4.kek.jp/lxr/source//examples/extended/field/field04/src/F04SteppingAction.cc#L79

where you'd replace "TestPlane" by the name of your layer of interest. You get the global coordinates of the entry point with:

G4double x = theTrack->GetPosition().x(); etc.
