Hi Colin,

Try declare an object of the type G4VUserTrackInformation in your main.cc:

G4VUserTrackInformation myVUserTrackInformation;

This should coax the linker to link against the compiled G4VUserTrackInformation class in your object folder rather than with the one that's in libG4track.a

I have done this 'trick' for normal G4 classes but I have never done it for a base class. I know too little about how linkers work to give you learned advice though.
