Re: None Program Crashes when Compton Scatter in Air
Date: 17 May, 2009
From: <jdswado@gatech.edu>

After further attempts to diagnose the problem I described previously, I've found that it is not necessarily the Compton scatterings in Air which is the problem, rather it is Compton scatter events occurring in materials of low density, as the problem is quickly fixed if the density of air in the experiment is increased to approximately 1000 times than that found at STP, i.e. 1.2 g/cm3 instead of 1.2 kg/cm3.

Could this perhaps be a problem somewhere in my data libraries? If so where would be a good idea to start looking?

Many Thanks!
