Hello,

1) This question better to post in emprocess forum.

2) The default limit 1 keV for the cut in range can be overwritten:

G4double lowlimit=10*eV;  
G4ProductionCutsTable::GetProductionCutsTable()->SetEnergyRange(lowlimit,100*GeV);

3) There are two methods for simulation for gaseous detectors:
        - use PAI mode (examples/extended/electromagnetic/TestEm8)
        - develop a user model whihc transforms energy deposition at a 
          step into number of ionisations
