 in the context of TestEm5, I would check that a transmitted particle :
 1- is the primary particle : trackID == 1
 2- his energy is unaltered : aTrack->GetKineticEnergy() == aTrack->GetVertexKineticEnergy()

 I did not try it, but I think it would work.
