Hi everybody!

a beta+ decay leads to 511 keV gammas, which are converted to electrons in
an absorber.
is there a possibility to recieve the energy of the last gamma, which
produces the electron? (the electron may have done some multiple scatter in the absorber,
so the gamma may not be the direct mother).
So the question is: can one somehow climb up the electron track-tree until
"particle==gamma" or do i have to store all gammas until it is clear, weather it produces
an electron or not?

Thanks for your help,
Holger
