Hello!

I would like to run one particle more than once ,say 1e6 time, before tcalculating the next.

The properties of the different particles is stoerd in a file an read in in PrimaryGeneratorAction.

with /run/beamOn xx I caculate the first xx particles of the file.

I tried to use /gun/number nn but than the collection in the detector summarieses about all the nn particles.

How can I invoke the same particle more than once, but calculating them as different runs?

( two not very elegant possiblilities I am using at the moment are: - multiply the inputfile 1e6 times or - invoke the hole programm with a macro 1e6 times both not good because of the lenght of the inputfile or the amount of outputfiles.)

Thanks for suggestions.

Karen
