Question Skipping an event where the code gets stuck

Forum: Event and Track Management
Date: 11 Aug, 2005
From: <maryam@jlab.org>

Dear GEANT4-ers,
I have encountered a problem of my code getting stuck in an event while
running. It can just stay steady for days without any specific error message.
I'm assuming it gets stuck or starts to loop somewhere. I hope that
it would give up at some point, but it doesn't! So I just decided to skip
that event, by either putting a time or steplength limit.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how it can be fixed?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Maryam
