Hi,

In my sim I want to kill half of the optical photons on generation and then set the weight of the survivors to 2.

I tried to do it with stacking or tracking action but the G4Track used there is a const.

I suppose I can do it from my stepping action for the first step but this is not efficient since I don't want to have the same if (step=0) code executed for every step of the millions of particles.

Isn't there a way to set the weight of the track from outside the stepping action? I suppose I can use my own modified physics code but this is not the optimal solution either.

Thanks, Vlasios Vasileiou
