Question Microscopic dose profile around a track

The problem I am interested in is related to the interaction of high energy heavy charged particle (HCP) with materials. I would like to simulate the radial dose profile around a HCP track, i.e., how the HCP and its secondaries microscopically deposit energy in materials.

My questions are:

1) How small can I define volumes in Geant4 ?

2) Could I account for the energy deposited in each of this small volumes by the primary and secondary particles ?
