Hi Tom

Thanks for the suggestion. I spread my application over multiple runs hence need to ensure that all events have unique random number sequences. Currently I use G4Random::setTheSeed(seed) in main, where seed is passed in as a parameter. I use the batch scheduler job number as the seed; the easiest source of numbers guaranteed to be different for each run. Do you accumulate data across runs? If so, how do you ensure events are not repeated?

Thanks again
