None How to store trajectories within a solid angle

I am attempting to run HepMCEx02 on a custom Detector Construction class. The issue I am having is the volume is large enough that geant cannot draw all of these trajectories. I would like to only plot and store those trajectories that pass through the detector which is about 100m away from the actual collision and is only a few meters in size. Is there a way to specify a solid angle that the trajectories must fall inside in order to be plotted and stored? And if so, where specifically would I specify this? The error messages I am currently receiving for reference are:

********************* WARNING! ********************
* Display list limit reached in OpenGL.
* Continuing drawing WITHOUT STORING. Scene only partially refreshable.
*  Current limit: 50000.  Change with "/vis/ogl/set/displayListLimit".
