Question problem with the neutron track length.

Hello I would like to know the neutron track length so I put this lines in the stepping action

  if(thePrePVname=="smallWorld"&&thePostPVname=="fuel1"&&particleName=="neutron"&&thePostPoint->GetStepStatus() == fGeomBoundary)
    {
      if(volume1->GetName() == "fuel1" && volume2->GetName() == "fuel2") fL1 = theTrack->GetTrackLength(); //entering volume 2
 G4double kinEnergy2 = theTrack->GetKineticEnergy()/MeV;
 file << "neutron" << " "  << kinEnergy2 << " " <<fL1/cm<< G4endl;
    }

basically the result file will have three column

neutron, its energy and the its track length.

I would like to know the track length of neutrons while it is in fuel1 before it goes to fuel2.

Compiling is okay. However, I have got 0 in the track length parameter.

I do not know where it got wrong. Please help me !

Thank you
