Question tracking particle path length travelled in a volume

Forum: Event and Track Management
Date: 27 May, 2017
From: David Sangcheol Lee <David Sangcheol Lee>

Hello, I really need help from GEANT4 expert.

I collected results for neutron leaving from volume 1 to volume 2 with its energy.

Is there way to get the path length of neutron travelled between volume 1 and volume 2?

If it is not possible to get the path length, can I get how many step the neutron took and the step size in each corresponding time?

Basically I need total path length that neutron took before it leaves volume 2 and I have conflicting information which parameter I have to insert in SteppingAction to get this kind information.

Please help me

Thank you
