I am simulating low energy gamma interaction (for example 100 keV) with a water phantom. As you know the secondary electrons can be produced by photoelectric or compton processes and these secondary electrons can also generate other electrons by ionization. I want to seperate the dose coresponding to compton process and photoelectic process from each other. Now, how can I categorize the energy deposition of succesive secondary electrons according first compton or photoelectric interactions.
