I am trying to simulate a spectrum for a Cd-109 sample. Experimentally we see summation peaks around 44 and 47 keV, which are summation peaks from 2 22keV x-ray for the 44 peak and 22 + 25 keV x-ray for the 47 peak. Anyway when I originally simulated the spectrum the summation peaks were missing. To try and get these peaks to occur I looked at the EndOfEvent from the AnalysisManager of rdecay02 example.
Using this and my model, which uses Sensitive Dectecotrs instead of stepping action, I am trying to get time from, ProcessHits of the SD.cc, I define;
newHit = SetTime( aStep->GetPreStepPoint()->GetProperTime()) ;
I am then outputting the Time and time difference to the terminal but for a good portion of the hits it says the time and time difference between two hits in an event is 0 seconds, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this problem?
