None Discrete spectrum using GPS: outputs differ with Geant4 versions

Dear all,

I need to generate primaries according to a discrete spectrum.
For technical reasons I need just one source and it has to be done using GPS (and not ParticleGun).
To avoid interpolation with GPS, I used this kind of hitogram:

/gps/ene/type User
/gps/hist/type energy

/gps/hist/point E1 0.
/gps/hist/point E1 p1
/gps/hist/point E1 0.
/gps/hist/point E2 0.
/gps/hist/point E2 p2
/gps/hist/point E2 0.

I noticed that this method does not provide the same generation of primaries if we use different versions of Geant4.

I reproduced this issue using the "extended/eventgenerator/exgps" example by comparing Geant4-9.5.1 and Geant4.9.5.2 (I attached the macro file and primary spectrum outputs from exgps)

I agree that that the method to construct the spectrum is not clean but is the difference between G4 versions normal?
How can I produce a discrete spectrum using a unique source with GPS?

Thanks a lot,
