Dear Geant4 experts
Thank You in advance for your kindly effort. I am working on microdosmetry examples and I have a question about effect of cut values. As you can see from microdosmetry example, G4Region is used to sets different cut value for electron, posirton, gamma and proton in Target volum (1*nanometer). The cut value is 10*micrometer in physicslist class. I run the example with this 1*nanometer cut value and by changing it to 10*micrometer value, however number of electrons created in region "Target" : N e- : 22910 for both cases. doesn't it seem strange? the message of material table in the output for 1*nanometer cut value is ========= Table of registered couples ==============================
Index : 0 used in the geometry : Yes recalculation needed : No Material : G4_WATER Range cuts : gamma 1 um e- 1 um e+ 1 um proton 1 um Energy thresholds : gamma 990 eV e- 990 eV e+ 990 eV proton 100 eV Region(s) which use this couple : DefaultRegionForTheWorld

Would you mind please explian the reason and how can I observe the effect of cut value in number of secondary electrons in Target region.. With Best Regards, Yazdan
