Question Tracking resolution

Forum: Event and Track Management

I am using my own SteppingVerbose file to get an x location of the particle track output. I use the following:

<< std::setw(6) << G4BestUnit(fTrack->GetPosition().x(),"x")

However I would like the value to 2 decimal places when I go over 10 cm. I changed the code to:

<< std::setw(6) << fTrack->GetPosition().x()

But my value that comes back is still only equivalent to 1 D.P. when the value is over 10 cm.

Is there a way to get this value to 2 decimal places? Or is this buried deep in the Geant4 code and not possible to change?
