Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

Dear geant users,
I'm using the output from the G4SteppingVerbose function printing it on a text file in order to create the Energy spectrum from my source. I edited the code a little bit so that verbose_level=1 also prints the secondaries. To clarify a little bit, imagine a point source of monoenergetic betas in water. The output of this verbose file will give me, among others, the energy of each beta but will also show me the bremsstrahlung photons.
This procedure though, creates huge text files that are hard to analyze.
Can anyone please help me in order to obtain this information in a root file? I don't even know how to start. The idea is to obtain a root file with the information of
TrackID, Parent, Step, Energy, Kinenergy, Pos_x, Pos_y, Pos_z, momentum_direction_(x,y,z) PDGCode
I want this for electrons and photons primary and secondary (if I simulate a nuclei that beta decays, I want to be able to generate the beta spectrum but I would also like to see the bremsstrahlung photon spectrum)
