Dear all,
I have simulated a tungsten target followed by a vacuum cylinder where a longitudinal magnetic field is present (I called this volume AMD later on). A high energy electron impinges on the target and I followed (in my Stepping Action class) the global and local time of the positrons produced. When the positron is inside the target, global and local time is increasing as expected. But when it cross the AMD the times are no more increasing. Here an echo of my program Target --> globaltime= 0.030923701053858 localtime= 0.00070369516332018 Target --> globaltime= 0.031303460023332 localtime= 0.0010834541327941 Target --> globaltime= 0.031669087206233 localtime= 0.0014490813156948 Target --> globaltime= 0.031723110849064 localtime= 0.001503104958526 Target --> globaltime= 0.031911813333111 localtime= 0.0016918074425732 Target --> globaltime= 0.0332042 localtime= 0.00537723 Target --> globaltime= 0.0334738 localtime= 0.00564683 AMD --> globaltime= 0.0334738 localtime= 0.00564683 AMD --> globaltime= 0.0334738 localtime= 0.00564683 AMD --> globaltime= 0.0334738 localtime= 0.00564683 Do you have any idea of what could be wrong in my program ? by advance thank you Olivier Dadoun
