I'm working with simulation of Cerenkov radiation by muons. I built a distribution by distance between muon track and Cerenkov photon (calculated by initial muon direction, initial muon point and photon vertex got from G4Track). Multiple scattering is switched off, I choose only photons with parentID=0 - am I right that it means that they originated form initial muon? But there are some photons which have up to 5 mm distance between vertex and track. How it is possible?
