Question Track stuck

Forum: Event and Track Management
Date: 22 Jul, 2011
From: <Mike>

Dear All,

I positioned in a World volume, which is filled with air, a scintillator. Gammas are hitting the scintillator and producing scintillation light. My Problem is that the simulation stops after a time without being finished with the message bellow.

WARNING - G4Navigator::ComputeStep()
          Track stuck, not moving for 10 steps
          in volume -World- at point (-2.23441,-0.264444,1.92417)
          direction: (-0.117401,0.991975,-0.0469363).
          Potential geometry or navigation problem !
          Trying pushing it of 1e-07 mm ...

It is also strange that the coordinates -2.23441,-0.264444,1.92417 are in the scintillator, but the warning says it is in the world volume. If I change the reflector properties of the scintillator I don't get this error message. Does s.o. know what causes this warning and how to solve it?

Thanks for your help.
