I'm trying to build a Geant4 application that will track small dust particles under the influence of (Martian) gravity. To do this I have first created a G4GravityField class that inherits from G4Field. Then I have created a G4Gravity_EqRhs class that inherits from G4EquationOfMotion, and which will eventually take care of computing the motion. Next I wanted to set up the Chord Finder for use with my new gravity field. fChordFinder = new G4ChordFinder( fGravityField, fMinStep, fStepper); but G4ChordFinder does not like my field argument: it expects a G4MagneticField, perhaps not unexpectedly (?) Am I now faced with creating a new G4ChordFinder class, or am I approaching this the wrong way? Any tips or advice are most welcome. I am a complete novice with Geant4 so please be gentle :-) Julian
