Dear Geant4 users,
I am doing a simulation of the magnetic spectrometer with heavy ions As I was seeing, the tracking took into account the dynamic charge of the ion from the beginning(I assume value depends on media). Even for G4_Galactic world material initial charge is less than a charge of the ion. Can you give some link or reference how it's calculated. Particle: Ra234, fully ionized, P = 32.024 GeV
Another question is what are the best parameters for field integration and how they depend on momentum/energy? Currently, I am using these and obtaining extra Px momentum around 0.001 % of Pz as an error, please look on the attached image for geometry.
