Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

I figured out that since there is only a constant E-field (no B-field), the motion of the electrons is known analytically. -> maybe using the exact solution will avoid any problem due to the interagtion that I am facing (see last message)
But apparently there is no exact solver for constant E-fields in Geant4 (there is however an exact solver constant B-fields). So I tried to implement it myself (based on the exact constant B-field solver).
I used the equation given as a solution by Bielajew et al. (see attached). However I add to cange the sign for the energy gain.
I think the equation are implemented correctly, but I have a lot of trouble for finding what chord distance I should use for the "distChord" method. I attached the source file for this new custom stepper (G4ExactUniEFStepper.cc and G4ExactUniEFStepper.hh)
Any help would be very appreciated.
