Dear Dag,

I suspect, this returns NULL:

GetLogicalVolume()->GetFieldManager()

e.g. your field is not attached to the G4LogicalVolume.

You have a 'global field', so try this:

if(G4TransportationManager::GetTransportationManager()->GetFieldManager()->DoesFieldExist()) G4TransportationManager::GetTransportationManager()->GetFieldManager()->GetDetectorField()->GetFieldValue(Point, &fieldArr[0]);
