Question Generated electron is not affected by static magnetic field?

Forum: Fields: Magnetic and Otherwise
Date: 28 Oct, 2014
From: Kayo Matsuura <Kayo Matsuura>

Dear G4 users,

I use Geant4.9.5.p02 to simulate electron's trajectory in Magnetic Field.
Electron draws an exact curve when it's generated in magnetic field,
but when generated out of the field, it seems not to be affected by the field.
(i.e. electron draws a straight line.)

I think this problem is concerned with step size,
but I don't know proper step size and how to set it...

Please tell me if there is any solution to that.

Best Regards,
 Kayo Matsuura
