If you are interested in optical photons - then it is best to ask in the relevant category.

If you want to create a surface which kills all particles which arrive to it, then you have two ways:
  a) make this surface part of your world volume boundary.  All particles which arrive at this boundary are dropped.
  b) if you need to count these particles or do something else with them, you will likely need to write your own user actions (or process) which determines if the particle has arrived at that location and then kills it.

Please explain your use case and the overall application further, in order to obtain further suggestions.
