Question Set up new field

Forum: Fields: Magnetic and Otherwise
Date: 06 May, 2010
From: Andrea <Andrea>

Hi all, I'm trying to test neutral antimatter particle in the earth's gravitational field. My question is: Which are the mandatory steps in order to set up such a new field?

I defined two new classes: the definition of the field (with the GetFieldValue method) and the equation of motion (with the EvaluateRhsGivenB method). In the former I treat the uniform gravitational field as a uniform electric field. Now I face the issue of register the field in my geometry. Shall I inherit new G4MagInt_Driver and G4ChordFinder? Or could I make use of G4 classes? Lastly, what shall I do to write a class to propagate my particles in the gravitational field?

Thanks a lot Andrea
