Question simultaneous B and E fields

Hello,

I am trying to simulate a detector that has a local electric field applied to a subset of the detector volume and a global magnetic field. I understand from message #74 that this is possible using the G4ElectroMagneticField class, but it is unclear to me from the response to this message how to apply this class. If I setup global and local fields as in example field03 then do I simply convert

  fField = new G4UniformElectricField(G4ThreeVector(0.0,0.0*volt,0.0 ));
  fLocalField = new G4UniformElectricField(G4ThreeVector(0.0,-5000.0*volt/m,0.0 ));

to

  fField = new G4ElectroMagneticField(gbl_Bfield_x, gbl_Bfield_y, gbl_Bfieldz, gbl_Efield_x, gbl_Efield_y, gbl_Efield_z);
  fLocalField = new G4ElectroMagneticField(lcl_Bfield_x, lcl_Bfield_y, lcl_Bfieldz, lcl_Efield_x, lcl_Efield_y, lcl_Efield_z ));

Thank you for your advice.

ps. In reality I would prefer to apply both a local electric field and a local magnetic field to different subsets of my geometry. Is this really not possible in Geant4?
