Question Issues Running Example B1 - geant4_10_02, Windows

Forum: Documentation and Examples
Date: 21 Jun, 2017
From: Elaine Rhoades <Elaine Rhoades>

I'm trying to run example B1 as discussed in the installation guide http://geant4.web.cern.ch/geant4/UserDocumentation/UsersGuides/InstallationGuide/html/ch03s02.html, using the instructions in section 3.2.1.2.

I added CMake to my path using the command
   set PATH="C:\Program Files\CMake\bin"

I was able to make a directory to build the example in, but when I tried to execute the command
   cmake -DGeant4_DIR=%HOMEPATH%\geant4_10_03-install\lib\Geant4-10.3.0 %HOMEPATH%\Geant4\B1

(with the paths for my computer) to build the example using CMake, I got the error
'cmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file
even though I made sure I'd added CMake to my path.

Does anyone have any guidance on how I can fix this issue? Any help is appreciated.
