I'm not using this example, I have my own program (originally derived from Hadr04) and a complex geometry. I needed a Havar layer and I just copy&past'd it from this example.

 G4NistManager::Instance()->FindOrBuildMaterial(materialChoice); 

(materialChoice being "G4_Cr") will be the hard-coded equivalent, correct? (1)

(2) So I eventually ended up with a Havar layer with "Mn" G4Element (z=25) instead of a "Cr" (z=24) one?

I will calculate the energy loss in both "materials", this is getting bad for me :) Thanks a lot,
