Question A Newbie's question: how is an event generated

Forum: Documentation and Examples
Date: 18 Aug, 2016
From: Huagang Yan <Huagang Yan>

If I understand it correctly, a run consists of a collection of events, and an event starts with a number of primary particles. My question is: what do the primary particles or primary tracks have in common in an event? If they don't need to have something in common, any run may consist of one event only.

My question may be of too low level. But if someone could answer my question, I would be really grateful.

Thanks.
