Hello All,

After working a little bit more on my task, I will try to be more precise about my first question with regard as neutrons simulation.

I have been trying to modify another example, B4c, where I can take advantage of the calorimeter and use it as neutron detector: I want to add my material of interest for neutron absorption as a volume between the neutron source and the calorimeter. Assuming that this geometry I made up can work well to my purpose, I have two questions in this regard.

1) Why can't I visualize the geometrical components of the system? It was the same even in the original B4c example. How could I modify the code using the appropriate classes in order to see the layers of the calorimeter, and eventually the additional volume? (This might not be supposed to happen)

2) Is it possible to shoot particles in a collimated beam? So that the neutrons would have the exact same direction before any interaction occurs. In fact, I can see particles tracks drawn at the end of the run, but I can't understand whether they are shot randomly in the space, or they first interact before undergoing random paths (the example's description says the particles are shot perpendicularly to the XY plane of the calorimeter).

I hope my questions are clear, and at least more focused than in my previous message.
