Question Can only use cmake for analysis examples?

First of all, may I ask if there is a recommended program (make or cmake) to run the examples? When I make example AnaEx01, it failed with error:

Making dependency for file AnaEx01.cc ...
AnaEx01.cc:36:35: fatal error: DetectorConstruction.hh: No such file or directory
 #include "DetectorConstruction.hh"
                                   ^

Analysis examples seem to work only if I generate a new MakeFile with cmake program. This is probably because of the unusual shared /src and /include structure in analysis examples.

There is no documentation that specifically mentions I need to use cmake to run analysis examples. Besides, binary generated with cmake is located inside the build folder rather than $G4WORKDIR. I know I can modify GNUMakeFile to look into those directories, but can someone confirm that I am not doing anything stupid here?
