After building an application using G4MPI and testing the examples, G4MPI is not distributing unique random number seeds to each different node in my cluster. I'm using GEANT4 10.03 on a Redhat Enterprise 6 cluster with MVIPACH2 MPI, and I've also tested using OpenMPI. If I use /run/printProgress to print the random number seeds, each node is using the exact same number seed and getting the exact same results when the scored results should vary greatly with different seeds. I'm observing the same behaviors on the two examples. If I type /mpi/showSeeds each rank has a different seed; however, that is not being distributed to each node. Anybody have any ideas of how to fix the problem or get each node to use a different random number seed?
