Question microbeam example no visualization with Qt

Forum: Documentation and Examples
Date: 21 Apr, 2014
From: Ian Postuma <Ian Postuma>

Hey !

I'm trying to use the microbeam example to develop a simple application, so to better understand the geometries involved I tried to visualize the simulated world by activating the "vis.mac" file. While the simulation proceeds correctly, Qt visualizer doesn't star up... The message I get is the following

ERROR: G4VisCommandSceneHandlerCreate::SetNewValue: could not find fallback graphics system.
ERROR: G4VisCommandViewerCreate::SetNewValue: no scene handlers.
  Create a scene handler with "/vis/sceneHandler/create"

What can I do to correctly set-up the visualization ?

cheers Ian
