Question radioactive decay in geant4 dedicated examples

Dear Geant4 users,

I'm trying to simulate beta decay using geant4.9.4.p02. I had already had troubles adding radioactive decay to my previous code, so I've tried starting running exampleB03, which I downloaded from here:

I slightly modified run2.mac macro to run the example in batch mode using F-18, doing the following:

/control/verbose 2 /tracking/verbose 2 /gun/particle ion /gun/ion 9 18 /run/beamOn 100

What I get as an output is attached at the end of this post: all of my F-18 atoms undergo radioactive decay but secondaries (radioactive decay products) are not generated. The same thing happens when I run the extended examples rdecay01 and rdecay02.

I've checked my enviroment variables and they seem to be set properly, in particular I have:

(and they have always worked fine for all my simulations).

Does anyone have any idea about what might be wrong with my code?

I'd really appreciate any kind of help.
