Dear Tatiana,

Thank you for your answer. As you can see in my message, I made two modification for the AddPlaceVolume. The inversion in Rotation and Translation variables was evident for me but event inverting the variables,

  assemblyDetector->AddPlacedVolume(plateLV,G4Transform3D(Ra,Ta));

Do not compile and the error is:

  Compiling GeometryConstruction.cc ...
  src/GeometryConstruction.cc: In member function `virtual G4VPhysicalVolume* GeometryConstruction::Construct()':
  src/GeometryConstruction.cc:78: error: no matching function for call to `G4AssemblyVolume::AddPlacedVolume(G4LogicalVolume*&, G4Transform3D)'
  /usr/local/programs/geant4.9.2/include/G4AssemblyVolume.hh:84: note: candidates are: void G4AssemblyVolume::AddPlacedVolume(G4LogicalVolume*, G4ThreeVector&, G4RotationMatrix*)
  /usr/local/programs/geant4.9.2/include/G4AssemblyVolume.hh:115: note:                 void G4AssemblyVolume::AddPlacedVolume(G4LogicalVolume*, G4Transform3D&)

This is less obvious for me because, creating a variable to set in the AddPlacedVolume, it compiles and works fine.

  G4Transform3D trans = G4Transform3D(Ra,Ta);
  assemblyDetector->AddPlacedVolume(plateLV, trans);

I do not understand the difference between G4Transform3D& and G4Transform3D.

Sincerely yours

Juan
