 Yasmin,

 examples/extended/electromagnetic/TestEm3 is similar to N03 (only a little more general).
 It containts its own StepMax 'process' class (and its messenger) registered in PhysicsList.
 In macro lockwood.mac, the step size is limited in absorber 2.
