As you can see from your output, the visualization has failed at initialisation. Therefore the run has not started and there is no track to printout.

Running in 'batch' implies no visualisation. The example is built in such way (in fact all TestEm are like that). Your shell command > TestEm4 vis.mac try to force batch and visualization together, which are contradictory.

A command like: TestEm4 run1.mac |tee qqq.out will work
