I also follow the Vladimir IVANTCHENKO's forum suggestion and 
change 

LDFLAGS  += `aida-config --lib`

by the

LOADLIBS += `aida-config --lib`

in the GNUmakefile. Even I can run the brachytherapy sample smoothly. 
Of cource I set environment variables as asked.
I still can't see any output files. What is the problem?

      Total cross sections from a parametrisation based on the EEDL data library.
      Good description from 1 KeV to 100 GeV, log scale extrapolation above 100 GeV.
