Hi all, I want to simulate response of detectors to gamma rays emitted through decays of nuclear excited states, especially those produced in (thermal) neutron capture reaction. For example, in (thermal) neutron capture reaction of 14N, the 10.8-MeV state in 15N is produced, which then decays by emitting one or several gamma ray(s). How can I produce such states (and accompanying gamma rays) ??? Are there any existing examples? Reading codes and documents of the exRDM example, I thought that I could simulate such processes by using "G4GeneralPraticleSource" and specifying excited energies with the /gps/ion command. But it seems that it only works for isomeric states (of radioactive nuclides): a run of exRDM with "/gps/ion 7 15 0 10804" produced nothing... Thanks in advance. Kazuyoshi
